Elizabeth Veasey Appointed Vice President of Business Affairs and Chief Financial Officer

2月21日, 2022 — bet亚洲365欢迎投注 is pleased to announce that Elizabeth (Beth) Veasey has been named the College’s next Vice President of Business Affairs/Chief Financial Officer (VPBA/CFO). Beth joined Marist in 2017 as its Associate Vice President of Financial Planning & 分析, and has served as its Interim VPBA/CFO since John Pecchia retired from the same position in November, 2021. This appointment ends a nationwide search, and is effective immediately.

Beth is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in a wide variety of finance roles before coming to Marist, including Assistant Vice President at Moody’s Investor Service, Vice President at Bank of America, and Executive Director roles at JP Morgan where she served clients in higher education. Combined with her five years at Marist, she steps into this role with a uniquely broad and deep set of perspectives and experiences.

Beth’s appointment comes with widespread support across the Marist community, including its Board of Trustees. “The Board has been impressed with Beth since she arrived in 2017, but especially in her time since she has stepped in after John’s retirement,” said Finance Committee Chair Tim Tenney. “She is well-positioned to continue Marist’s tradition of skillful and visionary financial management.”

Beth graduated from Tufts University with a BA degree in German and also has a Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Policy and Finance from New York University.
